Reunion

The Ebon Fold defeated and the Radiant Tower cleansed of evil, the group took some time to recoup with Mircea and restore order to his orphanage. Unfortuneately, the recent activity in the area had attracted the eye of the city guards, among others. Kystos came to re-claim the underground passages for the Brotherhood of Shadows. As well, new visitors came to ask for service from the group. Many of the Brotherhood of Shadows returned from afield, as well as a Knight from the North accompanied by a female Priest who begged the group for help.

It was also around this time when the group uncovered a scrying orb (used by Mircea) to communicate to the Ebon Fold. They decided to use the Orb to scry for their missing companions. The orb revealed Balthazar and Kuros flying through the air across golden fields of wheat and farmland.

Within the next day, Kuros and Balthazar arrived at the Radiant Tower, much to the surprise of the rest of the group. The two of them looked like they had seen much, their travels had taken their toll. Balthazar looked ragged and worn out, but a glint in his eyes told that he had learned much. Kuros was the wost of the two by far, the group hardly recognizing him on sight. Kuros had grown to inhuman proportions, his gait was stooped, his face angry and twisted and his voice a bestial growl. Needless to say, the group was wary of their two comrades.
